Welcome to my personal travel web site! My name is Monica Pileggi and I live in Maryland with my husband Tony and our dog Lucy. I love to travel, especially to Europe. It's been a passion all my life. I have been traveling to Europe since 1990 and have visited Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain, France and Germany. My Baltic cruise in May 2005 gave me the opportunity to tour places for the first time such as Oslo, Helsinki, Saint Petersburg, and Tallinn. I was born in Madrid Spain and grew up in various places, including Panama, Japan, Okinawa, and Hawaii, which is probably from where my passion grew.
I enjoy helping others with the planning of their trips. This travel web site contains information of places I've visited, hotels I've stayed in, restaurants I've enjoyed, recipes that I have collected, various travel tips, and my travel journals and photographs.

October 2008: China! My cousin Reenie and I will be in China for 24 days starting in Beijing and ending in Hong Kong.
November 2009: I just booked a wonderful Transatlantic cruise on the Celebrity Equinox for November 2009. It's a 14-night cruise starting in Rome and ending in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Port included: Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Cartagena, and the Canary Islands. For those of you cruising with me, here's a link to port information that I am gathering. If you have any information to provide, I can add it.
